Camie AI ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Camie AI platform at camie.ai. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use our services, including our integration with Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Lead Ads.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, company name, and other registration details you provide.

2.2 Meta (Facebook) Data

When you connect your Facebook Business account to Camie AI, we access and store:

  • Your Facebook User ID and access tokens (encrypted at rest)
  • Ad Account information (account IDs and names)
  • Lead Ad Form metadata (form names, page associations)
  • Lead data submitted through your Lead Ad forms (name, email, phone, and custom field responses)

We only access data from Facebook Pages and Ad Accounts that you explicitly authorize. We do not access or store data from any accounts you have not connected.

2.3 Lead Information

We collect lead data from your connected data sources (Meta Lead Ads, landing pages) including names, email addresses, phone numbers, and responses to custom questions.

2.4 Usage Data

We collect information about how you interact with our platform, including pages visited, features used, and campaign performance metrics.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide and operate the Camie AI platform
  • Process and manage leads from your Meta Lead Ad forms
  • Execute automated follow-up campaigns on your behalf (email, SMS, voice)
  • Generate analytics and performance reports for your campaigns
  • Improve and optimize our services
  • Communicate with you about your account and our services

4. Meta Platform Data Usage

Data obtained from Meta (Facebook) is used exclusively to provide the services you have requested within Camie AI. Specifically:

  • We do not sell, rent, or share Meta data with third parties for their own purposes
  • We do not use Meta data for advertising or profiling beyond the services you requested
  • We do not transfer Meta data to data brokers
  • Meta data is used solely to sync your leads, manage your follow-up campaigns, and display analytics within your Camie AI dashboard
  • Access tokens are stored securely and only used to make authorized API calls on your behalf

5. Data Storage and Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data:

  • All data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS encryption
  • Access tokens are stored encrypted at rest
  • Database access is restricted and monitored
  • We perform regular security reviews of our systems

Your data is stored on secure servers located in the European Union. We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share data only in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers: Third-party services that help us operate (e.g., email delivery, SMS providers) — only the minimum data necessary for them to perform their function
  • Legal requirements: When required by law, regulation, or legal process
  • With your consent: When you explicitly authorize a data transfer (e.g., CRM integrations you connect)

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Delete your personal data (right to erasure)
  • Disconnect your Meta account at any time, which stops all data collection from Meta
  • Export your data in a portable format
  • Withdraw consent for data processing at any time

You can disconnect your Facebook account from Camie AI at any time through Settings → Meta Lead Ads. Upon disconnection, we stop receiving new data from Meta. You may also request deletion of previously collected Meta data by contacting us.

8. Data Deletion

When you delete your Camie AI account or disconnect your Meta integration:

  • We immediately stop collecting new data from Meta
  • Access tokens are revoked and deleted
  • You may request full deletion of all associated lead data
  • Data deletion requests are processed within 30 days

9. Cookies

We use essential cookies to maintain your session and preferences. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising cookies.

10. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to individuals under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through a notice on our platform. Your continued use of Camie AI after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
